Eco Proportioning System Benefits

Proportioning systems are a major component of an effective cleaning and maintenance program. Buckeye’s Eco® Proportioning Program provides proportioning systems that make it virtually automatic to properly dilute products. They also come with added benefits.

Super Concentrated Products in a Compact System

Eco Systems are designed to fit in virtually any custodial closet. Choose between the Eco Pro and Eco Element depending on your facility’s needs. The Eco Pro proportioning system can dilute up to 6 products and the Eco Element is more compact, diluting up to 3 products.

Because Eco proportioning systems automatically dilute products, each product is super concentrated and takes up less storage space.

Self-Contained System with Flexible Product Packaging

Eco’s flexible packaging eliminates product waste by delivering a 99.9% product evacuation rate. Each bag is hermetically sealed to ensure no contamination. Eco bags contain fresh dilution mechanisms to ensure dilution tips are not obstructed and proportioning is as accurate as possible. The proportioning system fill tubes are infused with a mildewstatic agent that resists the growth of mold and mildew. Eco’s packaging and self-contained proportioning system prevents contamination and keeps employees from coming in contact with heavily concentrated products.

Easy Operation with Cohesive User Interface & Experience

Staff can fill mop buckets, auto-scrubbers or extractors just as simply as spray bottles with push-button and automatic fill proportioning. Both the Eco Pro and the Eco Element utilize the same user interface, including system operation, labeling, icons, and seamless push and lock buttons.

“Your systems take the guess work out of the hands of my staff, which eliminates errors, results in our facility being cleaned properly, and I appreciate that.” – Elementary School Facilities Manager

Translucent Buckets and Simple Labeling System

The translucent buckets of the Eco proportioning systems allow for visual product inspection to ensure enough product is available. They also help to differentiate products by allowing the user to identify products based on their unique color. Each Eco product has a corresponding color and number to assist in labeling and identification.

Hands-On Training

Buckeye representatives are there to install proportioning systems and provide training for your staff to make sure proper procedures are followed. Our knowledgeable representatives are there to answer questions and find solutions to your cleaning and maintenance issues.

Buckeye also provides the Honors® Custodial Training Program for schools and universities. Through Honors, staff can access training materials including videos, PowerPoint presentations, training manuals, product literature, and wall charts. Supervisors can then assess a staff member’s knowledge with tests on various maintenance procedures.

“Our relationship with Buckeye has been phenomenal. They have been extremely helpful in making sure that our staff is properly trained and that each Eco proportioning system they installed was up to our standards. We are eager to continue our relationship with Buckeye in the future.” –University Assistant Director for Buildings and Environmental Services

Buckeye Odor Control Products

Often, products that claim to eliminate odors merely mask them with heavy perfumes. Buckeye’s odor control products do more than mask the odors; they neutralize and eliminate them. Buckeye’s odor eliminators may be used in multiple applications, making them economical and less labor intensive.

Buckeye has three liquid odor eliminators: Green Apple, Scavenger™, and Ten-4™. Each are cost effective with multiple applications and work long after odors are gone to keep the area smelling fresh and clean. None of Buckeye’s liquid odor eliminators contain harsh ingredients or hazardous chemicals.

Green Apple eliminates smoke odors, garbage odors, food odors, animal odors, urine and fecal odors, sewer gases, meat rendering odors, and musty/stale odors, leaving behind a fresh green apple fragrance.

Scavenger is pH neutral with a controlled release formula and floral fragrance. Spray Scavenger into the air or apply it to a surface.

Ten-4 has a wintergreen fragrance and can be used on all water washable surfaces including hard surface floors, floor finishes, plastics, painted surfaces, carpeting, fabrics, etc. Scenturion

Along with liquid odor eliminators, Buckeye provides a liquid counteractant, Scenturion™. Scenturion reacts on contact with urine, feces, food waste, and other foul-odor substances. It works to eliminate odors at the source and does not rely on heavy scents to mask the odors. It can be sprayed, mopped, or poured onto odor sources that are not easily removed.

Buckeye Carpet Care Products

Some people avoid installing carpet in facilities because they think cleaning the carpet will be an unsurmountable challenge. Luckily, with a standardized maintenance program and Buckeye products, it doesn’t have to be. Buckeye offers a wide variety of carpet care products that can match any carpet care needs. Buckeye carpet care products remove stubborn stains, are cost effective, and extend carpet life!

Buckeye has carpet care products for extraction, shampooing, spot removal, traffic lane cleaning, surface cleaning and specialty spot removing. For example, Beta-Gone Betadine® Carpet Spotter is a carpet and upholstery spotter designed to remove Betadine stains. It also is great for daily cleaning, as a pretreatment before other cleaning procedures, and removes stubborn iodine stains. Another product, Touch & Go Carpet Surface Cleaner, can be used to quickly remove surface soils (oil and water-based) when used with a bonnet cleaning system and is fast drying. It is even compatible with new generation carpets. If you need a soil retardant, Shelter can extend the life of your carpet by protecting carpet fibers from the penetration of dirt, soils, and stains. Even oil-based liquids stay beaded on the carpet surface for easy removal. Shelter also won’t change the color of lighter carpets as other protective systems tend to do.

Buckeye also offers the Buckeye Carpet Spotting Kit. The kit includes all of the tools necessary for any carpet stain, all packaged in one convenient carrying case. It includes Gone H202 Carpet Spot Cleaner, Beta-Gone Betadine Carpet Spotter, Stabilize RTU Anti-Browning Treatment, and Gum, Tar, & Oil Remover Carpet Spotter. It also contains a carpet bone, carpet brush, spotting cloth, rubber gloves, and a Spotting Guide.
